Chromium plating is an electrolytic treatment through which we deposit a layer of metallic chromium on the treated surface, giving the component unique technical characteristics:

  • Smooth surface (Low coefficient of friction)

  • Excellent coating adhesion
  • No component deformation (Low-temperature treatment)

 

CHROMIUM PLATING IN THE BRICK INDUSTRY

Thanks to our thirty years of experience in the field of kilns and the numerous case studies collected and documented over the years, we can only recommend chromium plating as a first-level anti-wear treatment.
Other types of anti-wear treatments, without the addition of chromium plating, cannot guarantee the same advantages and may cause various side effects during production.
