Tenax Energy Saving® compared with Traditional Welding Ziegelwerk Puttenhausen - LEIPFINGER BADER

The study was carried out in collaboration with the client Leipfinger Bader, who provided the operational data of the brick extruder. The results were published in the industry journal Ziegelindustrie International, January 2022 edition.

RECORDED DATA

ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Compared to traditional coating, TENAX ENERGY SAVING achieved an energy saving of approximately 15%.

EXTRUDER TEMPERATURE
At the same extrusion speed but with lower operating amperage, the extruder temperature was significantly lower — a clear indicator of a more efficient extrusion process.

OBSERVATIONS

The study confirmed the advantages of Tenax Energy Saving, highlighting improvements in both energy efficiency and overall productivity. These enhancements result in significant cost savings and optimization of performance.

RESULTS VERIFIED AFTER 9 MONTHS

Following the initial test, augers with TENAX ENERGY SAVING coating were inspected through our quality control process. A key step is the INITIAL ANALYSIS AND REGENERATION, performed by Latermec to optimize auger performance and service life according to the specific clay type and wear conditions of the customer. In this case, after the first regeneration, the augers operated for 9 consecutive months, consistently delivering energy savings and production efficiency throughout the entire period.
